David Jeter Barr

David Jeter Barr, 94, of Winnsboro passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2019.  Born in Greenwood, he was the son of the late Oscar W. and Irene Jeter Barr. 

David is survived by a son, Stephen Barr; daughter, Diane Barr Bass (Lunceford); and four grandchildren, Brandon Barr, Caleb Barr (Kristen), Lunce Bass, Jr., and David Jeter Bass (Mimi). 

In addition to his parents and wife of 66 years, Doris Barr; David is predeceased by two brothers, James O. Barr and Wesley Barr. 

A graveside service will be held at 2 o’clock Pm Friday, July 19, 2019 at First Baptist Church Cemetery, Hudson Street, Ext. Winnsboro SC conducted by Reverend Julie Belman.  The family will receive friends after the service by the graveside. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to First United Methodist Church, 109 W. College St. Winnsboro, SC 29180.
