Funeral services for Ross Robinson, 48, will be held at 11:00 am Monday, June 5th at Monticello Methodist Church, 5100 State Highway 215, Jenkinsville SC 29065 with burial to follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends Sunday June 4th at the former Robinson Home from 4-7 pm located at 5264 State Highway 215 S. Jenkinsville SC 29065.

Ross passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2017.  Born in Winnsboro, he was the son of Edward Robinson and Irene Dukes.

Surviving are his loving wife  Deborah Azzarito Robinson; sons, Samuel Ross Robinson, Jr. and Ethan Marshall Robinson; step-son Brandon D. Coppock; and sisters Deborah Robinson Nunamaker and Bonnie Robinson Morrison.

Ross grew up in the country, in Monticello, SC.  He attended Richard Winn Academy in Winnsboro, Timmerman School in Columbia, and Camden Military In Camden.  He then  graduated Irmo High School in 1987.

He  proudly served our country in the United States Army  for 2 years and spent time overseas in Korea.

He had worked as a Senior Network  Administrator  for the SC Dept Of Housing  for 13 years and was a respected and valued member of his team there.

Ross both loved fishing and hunting and the  land he called home ; as well as books and words and music and poetry.

But Ross' greatest love was his family and friends. Nothing made him happier than being with the people he loved.  He was fiercely protective and always made time when he was needed.

After being diagnosed with cancer in the summer of 2016, he " STORMED" and  fought and laughed and loved right up until God took him home. He fought bravely and with a strength and grace everyone around him admired.  Ross was deeply loved and he loved just as deeply.
