Samuel Lindsey Edenfield

Funeral services for Samuel Lindsey Edenfield, 77, will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Stephen Greene Baptist Church conducted by Reverend Dr. Mickey Cockrell.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church.

Mr. Edenfield died on Thursday, February 11, 2016.  Born in Winnsboro, SC, he was the son of the late Pafford and Gertrude Taylor Edenfield.  Sam was an avid golfer and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. 

Sam is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary Ann Lewis Edenfield; one son, Mark Lindsey Edenfield; daughter, Rennie Edenfield Ingle (Rick); three sisters, Annette Kelly, Eunice McCoy, and Kay Braley; five grandchildren, Lindsey Poston (Elliot), Taylor Ingle, and Sidney, Jonny, and Briceson Edenfield; and one great grandson, Asher Poston.

In addition to his parents, Sam is predeceased by one sister, and six brothers. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Sam’s memory to Stephen Greene Baptist Church, 500 7th Street, Winnsboro SC 29180.
