Mrs. Sallie Pearl Harsey, 90, entered eternal rest on Sunday, October 16. Born in Kershaw County on March 3, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Emmanuel and Nannie Reynolds Evans.
Mrs. Harsey of survived by one son, Tony Harsey; four daughters, Barbara McCoy, Brenda Harsey, Robin Gaddy, and Sheila Harsey; two sisters, Mildred Lewis and Betty Jeffcoat; 17 grandchildren, and many loving great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Arthur F. Harsey, Jr., Sallie is predeceased by a son, Wayne Harsey; one brother, Tillman Evans; and four sisters, Leila Cooper, Willie Mae Kersey, Peggy Vilascoe, and Mary Morgan Bailey.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, October 19, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints conducted by Bishop Steve Lenker of the Blythewood Ward. Burial will follow in Centerville Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6-8 pm at the home is Robin and James Gaddy.
