Funeral Services for Robert Marion Branham, 77, of Elgin will be held at 4:00 pm Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints conducted by Bishop Rob Christiansen.  Burial will follow in Centerville Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 4:00 pm in the Relief Society Room of the Church.

Born in Centerville Community of Fairfield County, Mr. Branham was the son of the late Tally Branham and Alice Nelson Branham.  He was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Ridgeway Ward.

Mr. Branham is survived by his wife of 52 years, Venice Whitwood Branham; three sons, Thomas Branham (Michelle) of Phoenix, AZ, Matt Branham (Traci) of Lehi, Utah, and Lance Branham ( Jennifer) of Charlotte, NC; one daughter, Candace St. John of Charlotte, NC; one brother, Jerry Branham (Peggy) of Ridgeway, SC; three sisters, Lila Campbell of Ridgeway, SC, Myrtle Gerald (Ernest) of Hopkins, SC, and Polly Langley (Bill) also of Ridgeway, SC; and nine grandchildren.

Marion loved spending his time in the service of others, through his church and through his many friends and family. He was always there for others, giving words of encouragement, providing meals for those in need, comforting the sick, and teaching others about Jesus Christ, his Lord and Savior. He loved his children and his grandchildren dearly and enjoyed their family trips to the beach. His love for music and laughter will be passed on through the many lives he touched.

In addition to his parents, Marion is predeceased by two sisters, Sarah and Inez, and his brother Julian Branham.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Marion’s memory to Emory University Hospital
