Rachel Hendrix

Funeral services for Mrs. Iola Rachel Hendrix, 81, of Winnsboro will be held  at 11:00 am Thursday, October 6, 2016 at Gordon Memorial United Methodist Church conducted by Reverend Athon Arant.  Burial will follow in Fort Jackson National Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, October 5, 2016 from 6-8pm at Pope Funeral Home. 

Mrs. Hendrix passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2016.  Born in Lakeland, FL, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Victoria Jeffries Miller. 

She is survived by her daughter, Vickie Dooley (Jim Douglas); brother, Dickey Miller; four sisters, Sue Collins, Caroline Wilt, Nancy Page, and Martha Conner; and two grandchildren, Justin Dooley and Tori Douglas.

In addition to her parents and husband, Loyd Hendrix, Rachel is predeceased by her brother, Bubba Miller.
