Martha Ballentine Hollis

Mrs. Martha Ballentine Hollis, 81, of Winnsboro passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2016.  Born in Blythewood, she was the daughter of the late John Jefferson and Lilly Lever Ballentine, Sr.  She was a member of Bethel ARP Church. 

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, George James Hollis, Sr.; daughter, Anne Hollis Bass (Chris); and one granddaughter, Ada Kimbrell Bass. 

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hollis is predeceased by a son, George James Hollis Jr.; three brothers, and six sisters. 

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 Am Saturday, December 3,2016 at Bethel ARP Church Cemetery conducted by Reverend James McManus.  The family will receive friends after the service at the church.
