Joseph Earl Albert

Mr. Joseph Earl Albert, 74, of Winnsboro passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2018.  Born in Ridgeway, he was the son of the late Mike Frank and Lois Smith Albert. 

Joe was a member of Ridgeway First Baptist Church and life member and Past Master of Ridgeway Masonic Lodge 30 AFM.  He retired from SC Probation, Pardon, and Parole Services. 

Joe is survived by his wife of 49 years, Harriett Davis Albert; son, Bobby Joe Albert (Donna) of Blythewood; daughter, LaWanda Ann Dove of Winnsboro; special nephew, Mike Kirkland (Pam) of Winnsboro; seven grandchildren, Brad Edwards (Claudia), Davis Albert (Veronica), Brook Albert, Blair Albert, Hunter Dove, Lauren Hamilton (Brett), and Denton Kirkland; and four great grandchildren, Olivia, Emilia, Emersyn, and Cayden. 

In addition to his parents, Joe is predeceased by a sister, Evelyn Sullivan. 

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 pm Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Aimwell Cemetery in Ridgeway conducted by Reverend Brian Hovis.  The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6 -8 pm at Pope Funeral Home.
