Jackie Ray Mincey

Mr. Jackie Ray Mincey, 81, of Winnsboro passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2017.  Born in Winnsboro, he was the son of the late Grady and Julian Slater Mincey. 

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Beasley Davis Mincey; four daughters, Jennifer M. Boone (Walter); Jacqueline “Pixie” Taylor (Steve); Beasley Jo Banister (Sam); and Julie M. Haynes (Ben); one brother, Mike J. Mincey (Diane); one sister, Lorretta M. Smith (Herb); eight grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. 

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by two sisters, Faye Dinkins and Peggy Tolbert. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Gordon Memorial United Methodist Church, 502 Fifth Street in Winnsboro conducted by Reverend Athon Arant.  Burial will follow in Fairfield Memorial Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, October 31, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Gordon Memorial UMC family life center.
