So sorry to hear of your loss.
Jane, you are the only one of Eldred and Donald's children I really knew. I know someone that was called Keith when I ran the skating ring for Grady between one of our moves. You and your Mother lived on Dunn Street next door to us. My sister, Nell Branham Weir and I used to play with you. I believe your Daddy, Donald and his brother Frank were in the military during this time. I will be 79 yrs. old in September and you were very young. You may remember my brother, Grady, who passed away at 60 yrs.old . I came home before he passed. My husband, Jimmie Caddell and I were living in California at that time. We were blessed with one son James William Wissner Caddell who is now 52 years of age. He and his wife have one son, William Dixon Caddell who is 15 years of age. Jim and I have been married for 58 years. No matter how old, we are never ready to lose a loved one. Your and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. God bless each of you. Shelby

Vicky, so sorry of the loss of your mother. I try to keep up with Winnsboro and Fairfield Co. from time to time and I saw where your mother had passed. It was good to see you and DJ at the reunion some time ago. You were one of my favorites. Again so sorry for your loss. May God bless you. Coach Wayne and Peggy Sibbett

Thank you, Mr. Sibbett for your kind words and thoughtfulness. You and Mr. Rice were by far, my favorites teachers. My mom suffered a lot in the last years and I prayed for peace for her but I didn't have any idea it would hurt so much. I hope she is dancing in Heaven with her loved ones. Thanks again.

I have so many happy memories of Edred as the younger sister of Aunt Mary Lou and Uncle Tommy. Jane was one of my best buddies growing up. Thinking of all of you and our wonderful memories. The Hackles were such a close family and took care of each other. When I ride to visit my daughter in Statesboro, I think of Aunt Mary Lou telling me of her youth in Metter, Ga. and how she wanted to go back and visit some day. Eldered was a sweet lady, loving and kind! A family of so much love!
