Mr. Doyle Freeman McCoy, 92, of Winnsboro passed away on Monday, December 18, 2017 surrounded by his loving family.  Born in Cobbtown, Ga, he was the son of the late Lester and Lovie Sikes McCoy. 

He retired from Uniroyal and after retirement, started his own small engine repair business, McCoy’s Small Engine Repair.

He loved Jesus, his family, and his wonderful church family.   

He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 69 years, Eunice Edenfield McCoy; two daughters, Marsha Brown (Stewart) and Tricia Bramlett (Al Lewis); daughter-in-law, Martha McCoy; seven grandchildren, Angela Beam Hendricks, Jamison Beam Young (Joe), Joshua Lloyd McCoy (Barb), Kerri Lynn Varnadore (Beckey), Lindsay McCoy Crane (Chris), Ashley McCoy Gibbons (Will), and Warren McCoy Varnadore (Anne); and ten great grandchildren, Jalen Hendricks, Gabriel Young, Gracie Young, Noah Young, Kayden Varnadore, Ryan Crane, Lillian McCoy, George Gibbons, Madeline Crane, and Clara Gibbons. 

In addition to his parents, Doyle is predeceased by two sons, Kerry Freeman McCoy “Bubba”, and SMSgt Stephen W. McCoy; three brothers, and three sisters. 

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Friday, December 22, 2017 at Winnsboro First Church of the Nazarene conducted by reverend Harry Varn.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends after the service in the church fellowship hall.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Palmetto Health Richland Heart Clinic, Agape Hospice, and Church of the Nazarene members for the love and support shown to us. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Winnsboro First Church of the Nazarene, 650 9th Street, Winnsboro, SC 29180.
