Doris Hardy Taylor

A graveside service for Doris Hardy Taylor, 85, will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, January 2, 2017 at Bethel ARP Church Cemetery conducted by the Reverend Rodney Foster.  The family will receive friends after the service at the home of Louise Cathcart from 3-5pm. 

Mrs. Taylor passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2016.  Born in Camden, SC, she was the daughter of the late Leighton C. and Cora Williams Hardy. 

Doris is survived by one son, Steven Edward Taylor (Jacqueline); two daughters, Beth Taylor Edmonds (Chris) and Margaret Taylor Farrow (Reggie); sister, Betty Crawford; three grandchildren, Shannon Farrow Anderson, Steven E. Taylor, Jr., and Mrs. Jackie Taylor; and five great grandchildren.    

In addition to her parents, Doris is predeceased by her husband, Walter E. “Sonny” Taylor. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sion Presbyterian Church, 116 W. Washington Street, Winnsboro SC 29180 or to the Alzheimer’s Research Foundation, 3152 Little Road, Suite 146, Trinity Florida 34655.
