Doris Christie Barr

Mrs. Doris Christie Barr, 86, of Winnsboro passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2017.  She was the daughter of the late George H. and Virginia Williams Christie. 

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, David Jeter Barr; son, David Stephen Barr of Belton, SC; daughter, Diane Barr Bass (Lunceford) of Conover, NC; sister, Mary Helen Cooper; four grandchildren, Brandon Barr, Caleb Barr (Kristen), Lunce Bass, Jr., and David Jeter Bass (Mimi). 

In addition to her parents, Doris is predeceased by a sister, Barbara Richburg. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, October 13, 2017 at First United Methodist Church of Winnsboro conducted by Reverend Julie Belman.  The family will receive friends after the service in the church fellowship hall. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to First United Methodist Church, 109 W. College Street, Winnsboro, SC 29180.
