Albert Lee Gattis

Mr. Albert Lee Gattis, 70, of Winnsboro passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2017.  Born in Winnsboro, he was the son of the late James Thomas and Eva Jane Hancock Gattis. 

He served our country during Vietnam in the United States Army. Albert was loved by his family and many friends.   

Albert is survived by his brother, James H. Gattis; two sisters, Peggy G. Proctor and Linda G. Sibley; eight nieces, Carla Varnadore, Tammy Sibley, Melanie Ellis, Ann Williams, Tammy Walker. Danielle McKinney, Krystel Martin, April Jewett; and seven nephews, Michael Sibley, Chris Sibley, Tommy Gattis, Jimmy Gattis, Jamie Gattis, Jeromy Gattis, and Bradley Sampson. 

In addition to his parents, Albert is predeceased by two brother, Thomas and Danny Gattis; one sister, Janice Lathan; and a nephew, Bobby Proctor. 

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
